Sensitivity adjustment 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Had the unit a few years, never got good use and thought it might be the trainer aircraft I was using. However, I did call tech support years ago and mess around with the internal adjustments on the administrative menu.

The part in the manual (pg. 31 MRX) that says:

Page 2: Internal Adjustment
This page is for internal adjustments only. Do not make any changes on this page. Press the multi-function button to
save the altimeter settings from the previous page and return to the traffic display.
.

So having messed with it, can you tell me the default setting so I can put it back to what it was shipped with? (10, 11, 9, ? ). Also, in case my unit does need some adjustment, does the higher number increase or decrease my sensitivity to nearby transponders?

The original and continuing problem is that the unit continually alerts to a target at or near my altitude at a very close range. My T-code is properly displayed, so it is picking me up, and I have checked the altitude adjustment numerous times - however- Not sure if I have the right sensitivity adjustment any more. Also happens in different planes- some very clean and new thus not a dirty antenna. But regardless need to get the factory settings back so I can troubleshoot.

thanks, Keith

P00 009 is the factory setting.
Go back to the default and try it first, then you can adjust the number up to a max of 016.

In short the higher value the more increase in signal suppression.
