When I connect the audio output to the intercom system there is a high pitched noise. I can't use the unit this way. It was installed by an certified avionics shop.

Hi

we had a similar issue; I suppose it is the cooling fan of the XRX.
We solved it by putting a ferrite ring on the power cable of the XRX and by moving the power cable slightly to a different position!
