The audio announcements are very low in volume and sound distorted.

I have tried hooking up through the headset using the audio in/out cable and also using the intercome Audio In (which works fine with cheap tape cassette recorders and the ipod). In all cases, I had the intercom squelch open (continuous audio).

I just got the unit; it has the V2.0 software. Tried all combinations of switches; same result.

Tomorrow I will hook my ipod headset to it but I don't expect results to change.

Have others had this problem?

What is Zaon's solution to this?
