Will the magnet in the Garmin 396 XM radio antenna (GXM-30) interfere with the compass in XRX?

If the GXM-30 antenna is placed too close to XRX it can cause the compass to show significant errors. This is also the case with your aircraft compass. For best results ensure at least 14 inches of separation is kept between the GXM-30 and XRX.
