The Aera provides a high-resolution, state-of-the-art touch-screen moving map display, the XRX overlays the traffic directly on the screen, giving you the most reliable and clear picture around. The PCAS XRX uses transponder replies to determine azimuth, alititude, and range, allowing it to display traffic anywhere in the world.   Although the first 30 cables we produced did not have an in-line audio jack, we made a modification, and all future cable sales will have the in-line audio-jack. This means you will be able to connect to your audio panel or headset and hear the terrain and traffic warnings generated by the Garmin Aera 795/796 as well as your XM Radio (when available).
