Vista has made moving map software accurate, inexpensive, and truly easy to use. Simply use a serial cable connector to interface the Vista software with the XRX and enjoy continuous and accurate traffic.
To connect
To connect Vista Moving Map to the Zaon PCAS unit, first connect a cable from the Zaon unit to the computer - you will probably need a cable with a male DB-9 serial connector on one end and a USB connection on the other (these are commonly available at computer stores for about $15).
In operation the status bar at the top of the screen (below the menus and toolbar buttons) will show “Zaon OK” when connected, or “Zaon NONE” if there is no signal from the PCAS unit (eg, if the cable is unplugged). What you see
